St. Feichin's NS Mission Statement...

The school community of St. Feichin’s NS Fore seeks to create a happy, safe school environment where each child is valued and respected as a unique and special person. We wish our children to grow in self esteem and confidence, to learn  respect for  themselves and show respect and care towards those around them.

Our school aims to foster the social, emotional, intellectual, physical, spiritual and moral development of each student through a rich and varied curriculum and through our interactions with one another.

We value and encourage the support and co-operation of all members of our school community; children, parents, school staff, Board of Management and the local community of Fore.

 St Feichin's NS Fore

St. Feichin's National School  is situated in the beautiful, historical village of Fore in North Westmeath.  It was built in 1896 and extended in 2008 and 2013.  We welcome you to share in our journey as we open doors to a new and exciting world through education. We seek to continue the work begun by St Feichin when he built his monastery in Fore.  We are very proud of our heritage and strive to preserve and enrich it for ourselves and future generations of school children who will live among us.
